How many faces can you paint in an hour? There are variables that affect the number at every event. The time depends on the chosen designs, the age and cooperation of the subjects and other conditions. Generally, I can complete 7 to 10 designs in an hour. So for example, if you have 15 children at a party, plan to engage Ms. Fancy Paints for 90 minutes. However, charges will be based on actual time spent whether it is more or less time than anticipated.
What's the youngest age you can work on? I can paint anyone - even infants. But I do advise party hosts to be realistic about their expecations of cooperation from children younger than 3 years old. I will always try my best - some very young children are excellent subjects, some will not allow for the best artistic result. As long as everyone is enjoying the experience, there will be painting.
What type of paint do you use? This is among the most important questions you can ask of any face painter. I use only the highest quality cosmetic grade, FDA-approved face paint that washes off with soap and water. NEVER let anyone use craft store, acrylic-based paint or seasonal paint labeled "face paint" -- non-toxic does not mean skin safe -- these products are not FDA-approved for skin application and are likely to cause irritation.
Do you provide any other entertainment? As you can see in my photo gallery, I specialize in colorful, detailed, "WOW" designs, which require my undivided attention. My goal is to give your guests designs that will thrill them. Ms. Fancy Paints now features Invite a Princess - a very popular addition to a basic party package.
